The certificate will only work for a single night, even if that 1 night is less than 40,000 points.
I will book the hotel that you choose after I check the availability of the hotel and email you the itinerary.
I am a Platinum member and you may get a room upgrade at check-in if available. However, this is not guaranteed.

How to check for reward night availability:
1) Go to IHG, search for your destination and in the Rate Preference dropdown, click Rewards Night.
2) Hotel must be a IHG brand hotel with reward nights available for 40,000 (or fewer points) in order for the certificate to work.
3) The certificate will only work for a single night, even if that 1 night is less than 40,000 points.
4) Your bed type (king / 2 queens / accessible, etc) must be available.
5) Your dates must show available.
